Bowcraft Amusement Park or Bowcraft Playland is located on U.S. Route 22 West in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, owned and operated by Nicole Kimler. It is a medium size family amusement park with a large selection of rides for children and teens, including two roller coasters. Bowcraft Amusement Park is open weekends from May through October and daily June through Labor Day. The park is called Bowcraft because before the 1970s, it offered archery and arts and crafts.
After allowing the purchase of single tickets since its founding, the amusement park switched to a "one-price" only policy in 2008. Adults choosing not to use the rides, who are present to solely to supervise their child, still must pay the full adult fee. In 2010 pricing changed back to a per ride basis.
